Microsoft Research hosted its annual Social Computing Symposium last week, which included a whole session on “Social Objects”.
Jyri Engeström of Jaiku gave a talk entitled “Social objects, power, stickiness, and love”. Rob Faludi of ITP spoke about “Sociable Objects”. (Jyri’s wife Ulla-Maaria has also written about some Social Objects projects of hers in the past, and runs a company of the same name.)
